Runs n chases-1

The last day of the Mega YES!+ on 1st November 2010 was fantastic. We had amazing session with Bau and Dinesh bhaiya. We volunteers came to know that B n D along with Rashmin bhaiya and Piyu didi had to catch train at 9:30 pm. The session got over at sharp 9 pm and a mahindra scorpio was ready for them so that they reach on time. We first arranged for B n D, many course participants wanted photos with them, enthusiastic crowd who were like honeybees around the honeycomb with B n D. we made them sit in the car and the car left for station.

The time when Bau and Dinesh bhaiya were in Ahmedabad, their schedule was packed. Volunteers did not get even little time to spend with them. Some of us decided to go to railway station and spend at least few moments with them. We were 8 people and only 1 small car, Maruti 800! It looked impossible to fit in, but we all just made it possible somehow. Keyur was driving, Sudha n meenal at shotgun seat, on the back seat we were 5 people. Hiren, sneha and piyush. I and tejal didi just got fit somehow.

Keyur was given many offers while he was driving. Hiren said if he makes to railway station on time, before the train leave, he would give him nice gift. There were so many phone calls on the way and it was difficult for the person attending the call to talk. There was also much traffic as diwali was just 3 days ahead. All the roads which seemed empty on other days were jammed on that day. We just prayed to G so that we atleast can click 1 photo with Bau and Dinesh.

Finally we reached station. Piyush went to get platform tickets, I ran to find on which platform train was arriving. We didn’t knew their coach number. 1 person amongst us called up and got coach number, it was all chaos happening at Kalupur railway station.
When we made it to the coach, we realized that we had reached before B n D. This was magic. Scorpio car was beaten by Maruti 800 loaded with 8 people that too we had left after some minutes from the course venue.

To know what happened next, catch the next post.
